The research speed is 30 bytes per minute. If you place graphite in the research chamber, it will yield 75 bytes upon full analysis.Once you have gathered enough clusters, the resource “Graphite” will appear in your inventory. Simply aim the tool at a graphite deposit and excavate it. You can obtain graphite on any planet by using the terrain tool. A maximum of 4 scraps can be used for one order of 8 graphite. The Trade Platform provides 2 graphite for 1 scrap. Graphite Deposit Planet/SatelliteĪ full Centrifuge (2 small canisters of soil) produces 2 graphite. It may be challenging to find during the early stages, especially when crafting Packagers. This is created from Sphalerite which spawns naturally on this planet.Graphite – a natural resource primarily generated in canyons, mountains, and mountain slopes in the form of dark gray tubular clusters. If you dig down to the gateway engine on Desolo, you will be able to activate the gateway engine using Zinc. If you do not know what the gateway engine or chambers are and want it to remain a mystery until you come across it yourself, do not read any further. The unique elements come in the form of Wolframite and Sphalerite which spawn on this planet. Graphite can be found on every planet, and can usually be found in clusters around mountain areas. What Unique Items Are On Desoloĭesolo contains more or less the same debris related items that are found on Sylva. Once you have constructed a rocket, you will be able to launch into the orbit of Sylva, where you can quickly fly to Desolo without having to burn excess fuel that prevents you from being able to return. ![]() How To Fly To Desoloįlying to Desolo will require you to build a rocket with a solid fuel thruster and an oxygenator. It has plenty of flora on its surface such as Popcoral, Lashleaf, Cataplant. The surface of the moon is pockmarked with craters, much like Desolo, the other terrestrial moon. It's perhaps one of the most distinct Planets in Astroneer, with its thin foggy atmosphere and purple, sparsely forested and cratered Terrain. Once you have this, you will just have to avoid falling into any deep caves and travelling too far away from your tether and running out of Oxygen. It is the moon of the Exotic planet Vesania. To get by on this moon, you will need to get up some power generation setup. Graphene is used to craft the following items: Module Output Input Small Printer Field Shelter Silicone Graphene. Since there is no oxygen on Sylva, it actually isnt any more difficult to survive here than it is on Sylva. The barren appearance of the planet makes it feel like it is going to be a much more difficult place to survive on. Much like Sylva, Desolo is quite easy to survive on. The day/night cycle is very short on Desolo, which makes it easy to capture sunlight and survive on this if you have a good supply of batteries to store the power during the short night. Generating power is a unique challenge on every planet, particularly when you are dealing with the basic wind and sunlight capture methods. In the mountain areas and in the mantle below the planet’s surface Wolframite is the main resource that will attract players to this planet due to it being the source of Tungsten. Difficultyĭesolo contains all of the universal resources that are found on all planets in Astroneer. ![]() ![]() The caves below the surface are similar to those on Sylva. The terrain generation will consist of lots of hills and rocks. ![]() Since this planet is quite easy to survive on, has a good supply of the universal resources and all the means to generate power, it makes for a perfect trial run for anyone getting started with interplanetary travel in this game. Any further and you will become stranded unless you bring a backup. It is only a short journey that you can do with a single solid fuel thruster. It is a barren moon, much like Earths moon. It is the moon of Sylva and is a fairly easy one to explore. Desolo is the first journey you are likely to make in a rocket in Astroneer.
